The comprehensive processing technologies of tunas in Zhejiang province capture the highland of the deep processing area

     Recently, one research project which is the key technologies of highly value-added processing of tunas and the comprehensive utilization of the scrap of tunas passes the project acceptance of Ningbo Science and Technology Plan.

    This project lasts 3 years, jointly tackled by Ningbo Today Food Co., Ltd., the subsidiary of Ocean Family, and Ningbo University, proposes a method for rapid identification of tuna species by building up the database of the nutrient composition of tunas and footprints, and harvests a few key technology achievements such as removing acid and fishy from fish meat, improving the quality of fish meat, the enzymolysis of fish oil, purification of DHA and etc.

     It says that, during the execution of this project, achievements are as follows: declare 3 invention patents; publish 10 professional research articles; accomplish accumulated sales revenue of around 0.56 billion RMB, pay tax about 4.742 million RMB and realize profits approximate 16.327 million RMB within 3 years; and efficiently enhance the quality and beneficial outcomes of the processing of traditional aquatic products.
