Recently, Mr. Guohuawei, the secretary of CCP committee of Ningbo University, accompanied by Mr. Zhujingdong, the deputy mayor of Fenghua, visit Ocean Family’s Ningbo Today Food Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Today Food) to investigate the cooperation situation between the school and the enterprise. Relevant experts from the Department of Science and Technology of the office of CCP committee of Ningbo University and the School of Marine Science of Ningbo University and leaders from Today Food attend this conference.

    During the conference, Mr. Chenyifang, the general manager of Today Food of Ocean Family, introduces the current development situation of the company and the cooperation situation with Ningbo University. He completely confirms the contribution that the expert team of Ningbo University has brought to the development of the company these years and hopes that Ningbo University will continuously support the transformation and upgrading of the enterprise from the perspective of technology, talents and etc.

    Reportedly, the team of professor Suxiurong of the School of Marine Science of Ningbo University started the cooperation with our company from 2009. Both parties successfully implemented the joint research of “the key technologies of highly value-added processing of tunas and the comprehensive utilization of the scrap of tunas”, which is the important agricultural scientific research project of Ningbo. Over the years, both parties jointly develop several products such as ready-to-eat tuna pouch, seasoned dried red meat, corn noodle with tuna red and white meat, small canned tuna with vegetables, fish oil with high content of DHA, hypoglycemic active peptide and calcium, organic fertilizer with rich cadmium and etc. Moreover, at 2013, both parties successfully declared “the deep processed tuna fish oil and the industrialization of active substances, such as hypoglycemic polypeptide, from marine organisms”, which is the achievement transformation and industrialization project of the demonstration of regional innovative development of marine economy of State Oceanic Administration.

    After carefully listening to Today Food’s feedbacks regarding the cooperation of production-study-research, Mr. Guohuawei briefly introduces Ningbo University’s service work to enterprises and completely confirms both parties’ achievements over the years. He stresses that Ningbo University insists the development strategy which especially emphasizes the indomitable spirit and has the contribution to enterprises’ development through serving enterprises; and the university’s reputation relies on the recognition from enterprises. He also hopes that Ningbo University will continuously provide better service and support to Today Food’s transformation and upgrading in the future, strengthen the cooperation on talents development, scientific research and etc. in more broad and deep way, harvest more achievements and big successes, and aim for being the model of the cooperation between schools and enterprises.
