On July 9th, Ocean Family officially reveals the new pattern of its high-end seafood counters: Mini Experience Pavilion. The first pavilion is opens at Shanghai Isetan, while the first wave of theme event of “Kabayaki eel” is rolled out ardently.
“Mini Experience Pavilion” is the new type experience pavilion which is located in high-end supermarkets that already have Ocean Family’s seafood counters. It matches the current popular “convenience” cuisine culture, focusing on the concept of “make on-site, sell on-site”. Customers can purchase the convenient delicacies that are made on-site and just easily eat or eat after heating foods at home.
The Mini Experience Pavilion doesn’t occupy too much business area, mainly marketing commodities which are high-end, elegant and abundant. During the opening period, the first wave of theme event of “Kabayaki eel” promotes 5 kinds of “Kabayaki eel” products such as grilled whole eel, grilled ell sushi, and grilled eel rice; there are 2 sessions of the theme event during a day, chefs demonstrate the cooking and make products on site. And customers can taste the hot and delicious eel rice on site.
In the future, Ocean Family will gradually add such “Mini Experience Pavilion” at other high-end supermarkets and carry out series theme events of eel, cod and other products. We believe that such new “convenience” culture will enrich and satisfy more consumers’ demands.
