On the morning of September 14^th, the cooperation matchmaking meeting of Zhejiang-Taiwan fishery industrial projects is held at Hangzhou. Mr. Zengyuexiang, the general manager of Ocean Family, for the first time attends this meeting and signs the sales agreement in terms of the sale of super-frozen grouper farmed in Taiwan into the mainland market, with Mr. Huangyicheng, the president of Taiwan Weifeng Co., Ltd. The sale of the super-frozen grouper is estimated to be officially launched before the end of this year. At that moment, consumers can purchase the grouper at all Ocean Family’s seafood counters at high-end supermarkets, brand stores, wholesales stores and online stores.

    After speeches of Mr. Chenzhengren, the chief of the Taiwan Affairs Office of Zhejiang Province, Mr. Huangyicheng, the director-general of Taiwan General Fishery Association, and Mr. Tongjiachao, the deputy director of Zhejiang Ocean and Fishery Bureau, Mr. Zengyuexiang, the general manager of Ocean Family, especially introduces the company’s development of the whole industrial chain in terms of ocean fishery, the processing of aquatic products, import & export business, the retail terminal in the domestic market, and the intent to promote Zhejiang-Taiwan fishery cooperation.

    During the matchmaking meeting, Mr. Huangyicheng, the director-general of Taiwan General Fishery Association, expresses: Taiwan’s wonderful natural geographic environment provides the unique condition for the farming of the grouper. Taiwan leads the world regarding the grouper farming scale and technological standard. Every year, Taiwan can provide 25 thousand tons of grouper, of which 18 thousand tons are available to supply the mainland market.  

    As one of the key events of “2015 Zhejiang-Taiwan grass-roots fishermen communication week”，the matchmaking meeting takes “stimulate communication, develop together, strengthen friendship between two sides of the trait” for Zhejiang-Taiwan fishermen as the purpose, through the cooperation carrier which is built together by Taiwan General Fishery Association and Zhejiang Province, gradually rolls out the cooperation in areas such as ocean fishery, aquaculture, processing of aquatic products, market development and etc., and drives the fishery of both sides of the trait to realize the complementation of advantages, resource sharing, and win-win cooperation.

    Mr. Chenzhengren, the deputy chief of Taiwan Affairs Office of Zhejiang Province, Mr. Huangyicheng, the director-general of Taiwan General Fishery Association, and Mr. Tongjiachao, the deputy director of Zhejiang Ocean and Fishery Bureau, attend the meeting; representatives of each area of Taiwan General Fishery Association, representatives of enterprises of ocean fishery, aquaculture, processing and trade of aquatic products in Zhejiang Province, and relevant principals of Taiwan Affairs Office of Zhejiang Province, Zhejiang Agriculture Office and Zhejiang Ocean and Fishery Bureau attend the meeting.
