Recently, the aquaculture base of Ocean Family’s subsidiary is under the assessment process of the good-quality standardization base of the vegetable basket. The assessment is organized by the agriculture bureau of Hangzhou municipality and Xiaoshan District.

The G20 summit will be held in Hangzhou this year. In order to ensure the effective supply and security level of agricultural products in Hangzhou during the summit, based on the security requirement of the summit, Mr. Zhengjunhui, the deputy director of the municipal agriculture bureau leads the group and, together with the researcher of agricultural bureau of Xiaoshan, rolls out the assessment work to Ocean Family. They listen to the base’s report regarding the selection of fries, treatment of water, usage of feeds, and etc., check the location which store feeds and medicines, investigate and understand the laboratory of quality assurance.   

Ocean Family’s aquaculture base has the area of 500 acres, as the base which has the export record and the pollution-free base which has the certification issued by the Ministry of Agriculture. The base is wholly controlled in line with the international HACCP standard and guided and monitored by technicians within the whole chain, from the pond clearing and fry breeding to harvesting, transportation and processing, advocating and implementing the safe aquaculture and ensuring the security of the material of aquatic products. Food safety is essential for people’s livelihood. All big events, at home and abroad, treat the food safety as the top priority. We believe that Ocean Family should pass the assessment soon.
