On June 1th, Ocean Family’s fishery management department delivers the accessories for the squid fishing fleet in 2016 to Argentina. These accessories include not only new parts purchased from abroad, but also old parts which are disassembled, from vessels under repairing, and then refurbished, with the similar functionality compered to new parts, saving more than 600 thousands RMB for the company.
Sticking to the cooperation philosophy which is “providing safe, reassuring, healthy, and delicious seafood”, the management team members of the company operate all business lines by themselves and carry out many cost-saving measures: source high-quality repair parts from abroad; shorten the repair and conservation period by scientific management; refurbish wasted and old parts from vessels and etc. During April, the company fleet repair team, fully using the interval of the repair period, disassembled, preserved, and repaired 2 discarded donkey engines, excluding the blocks of donkey engines, almost retaining rest parts.
On May, based on the repair plan of squid fishing fleet in 2016, the fishery management department bids for purchasing new parts from abroad, while checking the stock of old parts. And finally, 335 pieces of usable parts such as cylinder cap, motor, piston ring, and etc., packed in 18 cases, are found, having more than 600 thousand RMB, compared to similar new parts. |
