In last week, Ocean Family’s 50 tons of imported fresh salmon consecutively arrived in Shanghai and Guangzhou airports. So far, the weekly import volume of the imported fresh salmon has reached to 60 tons per week, achieving more than 10 times increase, compared with 5 to 6 tons per week at the early beginning of the year. 

  After experiencing big incidents such as algae outbreak, strike, and etc. at last year, Chilean salmon industry lost 30% of the production capacity. However, together with Japan Mitsubishi Corporation and its Chilean subsidiaries, we continuously optimized the trading mechanism of the imported fresh salmon business, to secure the stable supply; till July this year, the supply is stabilized at more than 50 tons per week. And the port of customs clearance has also been developed from only shanghai to more places such as Guangzhou, Chengdu, and etc. Meanwhile, both parties officially confirm the strategic cooperation relationship, designing detailed market development plan of salmon business to provide “safe, reassuring, healthy, and delicious”fresh salmon products to more domestic areas.
