On July 1^st, Xinshiji 28 and Xinshiji 29, Ocean Family’s newly-built large-scale squid fishing vessels successfully arrive at the west wharf of Zhoushan National Distant Water Fisheries Base, meaning the formal delivery of vessels. And it’s planned that these vessels will go to the sea areas of southwest Atlantic Ocean for the operation around 18^th July.

The newly-built squid fishing vessel, with the total tonnage of 1,603 tons and total length of 78.35 meters, has the advanced facilities and excellent performance, representing the highest standard of the kind fishing vessels in the world, and is one of the largest squid fishing vessels. The construction of 2 newly-built squid fishing vessels enhances the scale of squid fishing fleet of the company, and will further leverage the fishing capability and efficiency of distant water fisheries, harvest more Argentina squid resource, enrich domestic “vegetable basket” project, and continue to have the contribution to the development of Chinese distant water fisheries.
