Ocean Family’s tuna products “swim” into the first China Ocean Fair

11th November, the first China Ocean Economy Fair (hereinafter referred to as Ocean Fair) opens in Ningbo. Mr. Zhangrongming, the vice-chairman of National Committee of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, and Mr. Zhaohongzhu, the provincial secretary of Communist Party of China and the chief of standing committee of People’s Congress in Zhejiang province, launch the opening of the Ocean Fair together. Zhejiang Ocean Family Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Ocean Family) is invited, as the representative of key enterprises of ocean economy from Hangzhou, to attend this fair.

Ocean is the cradle of lives, the treasure-house of resources and also the hope which people rely on to survive and develop in the future. On March 1 this year, the State Council formally approved “the plan of the demonstration area of Zhejiang Ocean economy development”. It shows that the construction of the demonstration area of Zhejiang ocean economy development has been moved up to the level of national strategy and Zhejiang province has entered the historic era of to fully explore ocean resources and develop the blue economy. Ocean Family takes this great opportunity to actively seek the international fishery resources and fishing quotas, consolidate and develop the ocean fishing, strengthen the integration of its own processing bases, increase the investment on deep processing of aquatic resources and health foods of ocean lives, further optimize the construction of industry chain and upgrading of product structure, and improve the overall economic efficiency of the company.

In order to break the monopoly of tuna resources by advanced countries, actively respond to the government’s plan to drive the domestic demand, and let Chinese people really enjoy the delicacies from the deep sea, Ocean Family started to exploit the domestic market at the end of 2010, focusing on teams buildup, products development, and the construction of selling network and logistics network. Right now, within less than a year, Ocean Family has launched five marketing modes such as seafood counter in high-end supermarkets, wholesales stores, boutiques, direct selling to hotels, and e-commerce. Ocean Family’s tuna products get the recommendation from China Fisheries Association Ocean Fishery branch and win customers’ praise.
